Timing light from the future....
You all know how it happens....you loan out a tool, its either comes back broken or not at all.
Well in my case my brother was using my timing light, and wasnt paying attention and snagged a wire on his fan. The light flew around the front of his engine about 8 million times hitting everything it could before the cords snapped and it went flying out and shattered in the driveway. So of course he aqquired me a new one(I dont know how or where he got it, and I dont want to know) The one he got me is one of them new high tech ones with the dial on the handle where you can adjust the timing lights timing. How do these work? The only thing I can think of is advancing the timeing on the light so I dont have to point it past the timeing tab. (IE: 6 degrees advance on the light will show up 0 degrees on the timing tab when running 6 degrees advanced) Correct me if Im wrong please, I dont want to hurt anything out of ignorance on my behalf. Mitch
