What are your thoughts on this burb?
Well i have been looking at a 89 Yj jeep for quite a while and i just stubbled across this burb while looking on CL. it is priced alitttle over my price range at 1500 but the seller seems willing to go lower. My biggest conserns are that it is up here in the North east and its gonna be rusty. It does have 4x4 which is kinda a plus. It has a 4 speed which is GREAT and it is a 6 cyl Which is great in my fathers mind. What are your thoughts on it? If i go to look at it what is spots to check besides the body and spring hangers? Also while at a car show a while back a guy had done a rear barn door swap on his 71 suberban. How hard is that to do?
Thanks alot here is what his ad says "I have a 1967 suburban 4x4. it is a 1/2 ton that is pretty much stock. RARE!! Supposedly only 166 made!! Has a straight 6 motor with a 4 speed manual trans. It runs and drives good but probably needs a tune-up. Has bucket seats and the original backseat. No carpets or headliner. Has a few dents and dings. Paint is bad. Has new tires. TRADE????? "
