As you see in my signature I have a 6.2L diesel. I am wanting to run 3" pipe just behind the cab then up thru the bed like small stacks. Problem is not many people can bend 3" pipe. So i called NAPA and they carry 3" flex pipe @$11.50/ft. Would I be better off just buying what I need in 3" pipe and get some flex pipe and take it to a shop and have them install it or just go to a shop that can actually bend the 3" and let them do the install. The only shop that could bend 3" said I would be lucky to get out of there for $250-300!
I didnt think there is that much work into bending pipe and running it thru a hole I would have already have cut for them. From what i could tell, there will be (1) 90* bend per pipe and then whatever they have to do to attach it to the collector. And the same guy quoted me $75 for a 7' section and Ill need at least 2 sections. What are yalls thought on this? Ill take any ideas/recommendations/gripes/complaints about it. TIA
