Dome Light/Parking Light problems - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

My '67 K10 is doing something odd, I have front and rear parking lights when I turn the parking lights on, but when I switch the headlights on, the parking lamps in front go out-but the rears still work. I tried a different headlamp switch, but this did not solve the problem. In addition, my dome light does not work-I think it may have a bad ground but I have yet to check into it-the only way that these two problems could be tied together is through that headlamp switch-but like I said, changing it had no effect. Any ideas?
