Removing a 72 rear view mirror? glass question
I got a 72 windshield at Pic A Part and it has the rear view mirror attachment glued on to the glass.
Now I have tried paint stripper, razor blades various knives (and have the cuts to prove it) to get this thing off with no luck.  How do you get the attachment piece off the glass without scratching or busting the windshield. I assume there is a way because to replace glass on a 72 you would have to re use this piece thats glued on. Any ideas before I screw something up.  Anybody done this?
