Talking Heading to Arizona On Sunday!! Security net coming back?

Hey all!
I'm Flying to Arizona to pick up the truck I bought from a board member On Sunday the 18th. I will be driving back from Phoenix to Houston on Interstate 10 and was looking for some board members as a safety net along the way in case I have a major problem. I am going to try and check a bag with some tools, but I'm not sure if the airline will let me do that. The board member is doing everything he can to ensure the truck will make it (new, belts, hoses, fluids, etc) and is really going above and beyond with this deal, but we all know unforseen things can happen and I was hoping for some contacts with maybe a garage so that if anything happens I could get the truck up and running and be on my way. Any help would be appreciated as always!!
Thanks,
Shawn
