I need some help, looks like I'm going to be forced to use an auto tranny.
I have been trying to install a NV3500 manual 5 speed from a 99 s-10 4.3 truck and fabricate my clutch linkage along with a 350 vortec engine. The pic attached shows the flex line that goes to the release bearing and it is about 2 inches short!!! Where it needs to be mounted on the fire wall for the linkage (I am following Yukon's Jacks template for a mounting location on the firewall) With the clutch linkage in this location the flex line is too short to attach to the release bearing.
Basically, I am so frustrated with this I could just give up!!!!! Anyone have a good deal on a turbo 350 automatic, I feel like this is my only alternative.
