Long day at the junk yard well worth the time and money see (pics)
After absorbing all the wonderful knowledge you guys have been feeding me the last week, I jumped at the chance to grab all these parts to start my 5 lug disk conversion. I Spent just about all day at the local junk yard and brought home some gold!
I picked up a 75 5 lug 3.42 posi, control arms, A Arms, Spindles, rotors, Calipers, Brake lines, Master cylinder, booster, hard lines, center link, drag link, and inter and outer tie rod ends off a 78. I even took the time to pull off a rear sway bar of a P30 (witch was a royal pain I might add). On Thursday I pulled a 3.25 lock to lock steering box with pump off a 74. I also pulled a 1 1/4 front sway bar of an 84 witch came with 4 solid poly bushings . While I was under the p30 I spotted that holly fuel pump and I just had to grab it. Is that blue thing bolted to it a regulator? The Front sway bar is installed already and what a difference it makes. It sure helped with the load I brought home today. I picked all this up for just about $500. Beats the thousands I could have spent. For those of you who took the time to answer my questions, Thank You! Here are some pics of my find.
