It's good to be back
I've been away from the board for almost 3 years, got busy moving a house, doing yard work, cutting wood, working on chainsaws, tractors, the house, and then there's the job that makes the money and takes the majority of the time away. I sort of lost interrest in my 72, then, a few weeks ago, I went over to Dad's place and put a battery in my 67 K-20 because everything is so muddy around that I can't get in anywhere to cut wood and it's the only vehicle I own that will go places the tractor won't go. I got to working on it, built a flatbed for it, tuned the carb, have been messing with the hubs, greased the chassis, etc. I started to remember how much fun these things are to work on, and the broad following of people that love these trucks.
So, then I remembered what I used to do with most of my free time, when i wasn't working on the truck, or B-D's machines, I was here, talking about trucks. I miss talking about trucks, I've been talking about chainsaws enough lately.....time to think about trucks again. 3 saws on the shelf and only 2 67-72's in the yard now....I need another truck!!!.......well, maybe not. I did charge up the battery on my 72 and ran it around the yard a little bit tonight...I miss the way the pipes cackle....I might have to liscense it again (2 years with no tags now) Hopefully now that things have settled down a little around here, I'll have more time to spend on the board. I was hoping that smiley was still here...I love the burnout!!
