I want to tow with coil rear end. what do I do now?
Guys,
I have a 72 C10 with disk brakes on the front and I would like to tow my race car to the track. I haven't bought a trailer yet, but I was wondering about the rear end on my truck and the ability to handle towing a 3000 lb car on a 2 axle trailer. I've read that leaf springs are better for towing, SO are there things I can do to my coil rear end (in addition to heavy duty shocks) that can stiffen it up some? Brian
