torque bump-stick for a 250
I have a built 250 I bought from a guy who apparently had it built to the specs. of a hot rod article years ago, but he has since lost most of the documentation. I am a little concerned that the cam is going to be more of a high end RPM cam, and be of little use in my 3/4 4x4. Can anyone recommend a good torquey cam for the 250, I am happy with my stock setup now, but it needs a rebuild, and a rebuilt engine like this with all the goodies it had was WAY less than just a basic rebuild on my stocker.
I am looking for something with good low-end torque (looking at putting 35's on to replace my 31's) but I would still like to take advantage of some of the high RPM balancing that was done on this motor.....can I have both?
