Master cylinder questions

* Anyone know the bore & stgroke of the stock master cylinder on my truck (68 stepside SWB w/all drums)?

* Anyone have any luck using one of the aftermarket MC's from Summit (or otherwise) with our trucks?

* Do all master cylinders basically have the same mounting holes/footprint, or should I be careful? It looks like all MC's I've seen use a diamond shape base with two mounting holes.

I might have more questions, but this is what comes to mind right now, and I have been hunting for answers online with very little luck. Any time I mention "stroke" and "bore" i get engine related websites.
