born and raised on the bowtie

hey ya'll i joined in march but havent had to add any topics untill tonight. i was actually able to find all the info i needed on this site just by reading through old posts and topics. but i posted a topic in the 4x4 section about auto hubs to manual hubs if anyone can pop over there to help me out... that said im supposed to tell about myself. i grew up in the Pine barrens of NJ, and all my father ever owned were 67-72's. my first truck was a 1968 c-20 with a 3 on the tree we dropped into the floor that was my fathers. he drove it for a good 10 years and she started having issues before i was old enough to drive but when i got my license we got her running again and my dad gave me the keys . My dad drove my grandfathers(original owner) 71 cheyenne 67-72s and we had a orange 69 taht was a one ton work horse.anyway i currently own a 1985 K-10 and would soon like to buy and restore a 67-72--the longest lasting most dependable trucks. god they are works of art....
