MORE Transmission Leak help

been having problems w/ a leaky TH350. Leak from the front passenger side corner of pan. Replaced dipstick seal last weekend, pan gasket and new pan tonight. Still steady drip leak. Started feeling around real good under the detent cable and there is a f'n hole there.

What is this, why is there no screw there (PO swapped the tranny) and can I just put a bolt in the stop the leak?
