New Member From Texas

Goodmoring to everyone, my name is John, I am retired from the Army and live in Beaumont, Texas. I decided to take on the challange of a 59 Chevy Pickup. What stated out to be a simple "get it started and drive it" has turned into a major project. I bought a frame with a 80 Camaro front and rear end. Then I changed the engine from the 6 to a V8 with auto trans. Next I plan on taking on the body work and trying to beat out some of the dents that were made during its years of spending time in an Texas cow pasture.
I have learned a lot from reading the forum and look forward to visiting with you all.
