truck doesnt want to move

I have had very few problems with my 71 c10 lwb in the two years that i have owned it, but this morning when I started out to work something strange happened.

After warming her up i put it in first and gave it some gas- it didnt want to move. It felt just like when you dont let off the park brake, except stronger resistance. I got out and checked if a tire was flat, but no. Since I had to be at work I went ahead and pulled out of the driveway hoping somehow the brakes had froze. It wasnt wet last night, but very cold... well it eventually started rolling pretty well (after 3 minutes of driving) but even after driving 20 minutes it didn't seem quite right. Of course any time something goes slightlly wrong you pay so much attention to it that it seems that way.

Anyway, any help on this would be greatly appreciated- i have to drive 20 minutes home tonight and I dont want to tear up anything.

Thanks,
Jack
