uh oh! CPP parts a problem???
I am just about to start a frame off on my 72 and had planned on a CPP "Grand Slam " kit to rebuild the frame it includes: spindles, bearings, calipers, 12" rotors, brake hoses, master cyl, prop valve,Power booster, all 4 shocks, inner and outer tie rod ends, custom adj sleeves, all 4 coil springs, upper and lower ball joints, seals, spindle nuts, dust shields and dust caps as well as all necessary hardware for a total of $1299......Now I have read a few threads where some guys are complaining about the products from CPP..........Is it a legitimate beef? should I look elsewhere like ECE and piecemeal the kit.? $1299 is a great price but not if the quality suffers, and with what this build is gonna cost overall,I do not want to p*ss any money away that can be spent better elsewhere, but, by the same token I do not want to have any headaches with poor quality parts. So........... I am relying on the input and experience of those of you who have dealt with CPP for some valid input..........thanx in advance for your help..........Bill
