More tonneau cover talk
I have some sketches for a hard cover. It would sit on the bed rails. I think I can build the frame with a light wood and then fiberlass it for protection. It would sit on the bedrails. The cover would hinge from behind the bench seat. The rest of the bed rails (from just behind the bench to the doors) cover would be for symetry.
The question is how to finish of the sides where it meets the doors. Do you just round it off a bit like a regular cover. Our doors sit higher than the bed rails and the steel is bent in at a radius. I could build the top to match but I wonder if that is too ornamental to have that running all the way to the back of the bed rails. I don't know... What do you guys think. Will it even look good?
