ZZ4 & 700R4 install

Finally, last week the engine and transmission are back in. A little bit of rewiring, some more painting, fluids and bolts on still left.

There are a few modifications. Checkout the custom made transmission crossmember. The Chevelle headers have plenty of clearance from the frame. The Edlebrock TV/Throttle bracket was also modified to fit the higher RPM Air gap manifold.


I also opted for the lower width serpentine belt system. The lower width should allow enough room to run the dual snorkel Ram Air Box setup.


Next up: fuel pump connection, fuel line routing, power hose routing, wiring harness clean up and firewall clean up.

I'm ready to start up the truck. Poor truck has been down since Late October. I'm half-way there to getting her back on the street.
