Thanks to the Great Supplier and Truck Enthusiast
Thanks again for the help in listing carb rebuilders. This is what makes this board so great! I have dealt with Wess (Classic Heartbeat) , GMCPaul and Tim (Christian Classic Truck Parts). All have been very friendly and helpful. This what makes these trucks so special...it's the suppliers, owners, and friends of these trucks that makes these trucks special. 99.99% of the suppliers and the 67-72 truck enthusiasts are down right friendly and helpful. With these trucks you don't get the "nose in the air" arragance that some car clubs seem to exhibit. These are family trucks for a family hobby.
I think at times we need to just say "THANKS" to all our suppliers who are make this an affordable and fun hobby. I have named three who I have dealt but I am sure there are many many others. I guess what is nice is we can keep our trucks low bucks or make them trailer queens. It's our choice yet we see each other as equals. Also thanks to all the fellow board members and truck owners who have made this hobby so enjoyable. Now after owning my 70cst for about seven years I now have a war chest built up to actually start the transformation of my truck. I think my son is also anxious for the rebuild to start. I guess what I am saying is THANKS TO ALL for being such a great group of guys and gals. You are all A #1 who belong to a #1 Truck family!!! Long live the "spirit" of our trucks!
