New to the forum

Hello everybody. I found the site while looking for parts for my new to me Blazer. A little history, my first vehicle was a 71 GMC Stepside. lowered. All through high school I owned and worked on 67-72 trucks, the best looking body style hands down. I had a 72 blazer, 350 pro jection(for a while) 4speed, 33's. Sold it because I'm not very smart. My best truck was a 72 SWB that I bagged, roll pans, it was bad. Once again because I'm not smart I sold it years ago.
I bought a 72 blazer about a month ago. It needs the usual rocker and floor work but overall very solid. 15k on a goodwrench rebuilt 350. I'm planning on getting the body in decent shape, fabbing some bumpers, a couple inches of lift. It will mainly be a hunting and wheeling rig, maybe a plow. Now for the Questions. I need to know of a way tofigure out the gear ratio. If it's not what I'm looking for what year axles are compatible? It has a three on the tree manual trans. Is a sm 465 a direct swap? I found a single wall top but it's missing a side window. Are the double wall windows the same? I'm sure I'll need some help but I think I found the right place. Thanks
