will skinny Mickey Thomp Sportsman Fronts hold up my truck???

I want to run these tires in the front of my BBC '67 truck. http://www.mickeythompsontires.com/s...SportsmanFront

they are 4 ply wall and 4 ply tread. but are only rated for about 1500 lbs each (stamped on tires). I know they make an 8 ply version, but i don't want to run them as they don't have the 28" size i want and i think my truck will ride like a wagon then..

will these 4 ply tires work? even though they have a fairly light rating? or is my 4000 lb truck too heavy for them?

thanks!
