Surplus tank and sending unit

First, this site is the best..It has answered almost all of my questions and the people are great. I have purchased the surplus tank and am in the process of getting all the parts to install it in my 72 lwb. I have searched and searched and almost got all the info I need. I still have questions about the sending unit and how it is going to be hooked up..I have only found one part number on the site for a sending unit for the surplus tank and it is FG05f..which this is a 3 outlet type.

question is: what do you hook up all the outlets to? I do have the charcoal canister up front, I know one goes the there, one is the fuel line, and the other I think could be used for filler neck vent?? is this right?

Also I have seen sending units that are drivers side or passenger side w/eec and wo/eec, what are the diffs? The filler neck is going to go on the drivers side so to me that means I need the drivers side sending unit?

Also on my stock tank I have two outlets, what is the second one for?
and it the one on the passenger side the tank vent to the cannister?

I have pics of my tank and the new sending unit

any other tips or suggestions for a sending unit that will work is greatly appreciated.
