A birthday, a bad day and a possible parting

Well yesterday was my b-day, and I decided to have a nice quiet day at the house watching movies and putting my brand new March power steering pulley on and aligning the belts. Everything went really well, blazer fired up with absolutely no problems and no squeeking or squeeling insued so I thought it was good to go. I thought horribly wrong....Today @ 8:30 am, I was headed out for a nice little drive to test out the actual daily drivability of blue and BAM, after 50minutes of driving at regular freeway speeds I hear a loud crash and a few clunks underneath the blazer, and all I can think of is the worst. I pull into the best buy parking lot with no p/s, park and pop the hood. Guess what I was missing, my friggin crank pulley....I just about lost it. I started swearing and kicking stuff on the side of the road as I was walking down the side of the highway looking for it, of course it wound up being about 30ft off the side of the road. Anyway long story short, got a tow back to the garage, lot less money then I was expecting $90 for a good 45 min flat bed tow and pushed it back into the garage. The entire time I was waiting for the towtruck and riding back to my house I was just thinking of everything that seems to go wrong with my blazer, I mean, thats all I have had since I bought the thing and I've never this many problems with my brown truck especially in this short amount of time. I got down to the thought that I might actually sell the blazer, I do really love it but being 21 now and already having one old truck to take care of, I'm not totally sure I can handle on thats eating money up like this one. Not quite sure how much, especially seeing how I really don't want to buy I new pulley right now, but you all will probably see it in the classifieds later this week.

EDIT:

Last pic was taken before I set out on the road, and thanks but as you can see it is definately not a stock pulley.
