Air Suspension Solenoid location suggestions.

I'm wanting some ideas on where others have mounted their solenoids. On my 84 GMC I have the tank compressor and solenoids on the frame under the cab. I want to the tank and compressor on the frame but I was thinking of putting the solenoids under the hood. I'm using AirRide Tech, Big Red valves, the smaller 2 way block. I'm not removing the inner fenders so I have some options there.

If I put the solenoids under the hood can I mount them near the battery or on the battery tray. How sensitive to heat are the valves? I want to put the solenoids somewhere that I can get to them if I have a problem again.
