Swapping '67 & '72 body panels

I recently acquired a '72 C20 and a '67 C10 from my uncle. I prefer the '67 but when I got it home I realized it has a LOT more rust along the bottom of the cab (both sides) than I remember! So here is what I'm thinking of doing. The '67 is nearly drivable so I think that I might just get it on the road and toot around in it (straight 6) and meanwhile start stripping down and rebuilding the '72 frame, cab and 350. Then when I get ready to paint I'll just junk the '67 but put the front clip and box on the '72. This way I also gain a full back window but keep the '67 body lines. Is this going to be possible?? Will I run into any problems with the body lines matching up?
