Altitude adjustment
Well im going to be lowering my '80 swb this weekend and I thought I would see if anyone has any tips/hints before I dig in.
Here is the plan for my 4/5 drop: Front - 2.5" drop spindles and 1 coil removed from stock springs (i have an extra set in case I cut too much or dont like it) as well as shocks. Support front of truck by frame, jack up one side under the LCA, remove stock spindle and brake components, cut coil spring, clean and repack bearings, reinstall coil spring and spindle. Rear - Flip kit with shock relocators. In my head im thinking support the rear of the truck by the frame, disconnect the spring mounts, pull the rear end to the side and rotate it up and over one leaf, continue thru just enough to get it over the other leaf and bolt it up. There is a 50% chance I will have someone there that has done this before but just in case im going solo I want to have as much digital info and support as possible. Thanks in advance. Kris
