What needs to be done to convert a blazer frame into a truck

Can anyone tell me what changes on a blazer frame would need to be done to use it as a shortbed truck frame? I know the blazer frame is shorter, but were would it need to be lengthened (mid, rear, etc.)? Also I believe cab mounts need to be changed but could use some info on this as well.

Any info is appreciated.

Thanks.

Scott
