77 Bonanza Paint Getting Close
I went by the paint shop where my Bonanza has been for FOUR MONTHS!!! HE finally got it almost done painted. I was favorably impressed on the looks. He still has to paint the hood and inside doors. I'll get some pics on Sat and post them. I went with the same stock colors - Russet Metallic and Buskskin. He's going to put a yellow stipe to accent the two colors where the trim used to be. I had him weld up the trim holes all around except the piece right behind the cab. I have had it in the shop so long I've almost forgotten how good it is going to look! I have the bumper at the plater and it's ready. He's also plating the headlight trim buckets. I'll get a new grille and it will look pretty darn nice. Pics tomorrow. Here is what it went up there looking like.
Here it is with most of the painting done. Ochre yellow stripe between colors is still to come. New wheels and tires, new upholstery, a few other things, and I'll be done, for now. Last edited by LBJ; 12-03-2007 at 02:18 PM. Reason: Pics added |
