Big Block/tranny Combo

This is a 454/turbo 400 combo that i'm asking $1500 firm.



This set up was built by a former professional self employed engine builder that was used as his personal engine. The motor came out of his 71' c-10 that i bought from him after he recently retired. This combo had 17,000 miles on it prior to removal. It ran like a top the 2 times i drove it prior to removal.

2 bolt main
Bored&Hone with BHJ plate & gasket 454+.030= 460cub
Deck block with BHJ
Grooved lifter bores for better oiling to cam
Resized rods with ARP rod bolts
Grind crank....010
Balanced complete assembly
Reworked heads, bronze liners & lightly mill to clean up
Hi Po valve job, setup new springs HD oil seals & all new valves
New rockers and 3/8 push rods and guide plates
Assemble engine and check all clearances
Valvoline oil and K&N oil filters were used on this motor
