How do I know if my carrier bearing is going out?

Does it go "ee er ee er ee er" under 20 mph or so ? I can push up and down on the first driveshaft 3/16" or so . Its kind of a rubbery sound. Checked all my wheel bearings . Cant figure out where the sound is coming from . seem s like its undeer the truck though. Help !!!!
