hi guys my name is timmy and i am buliding a 1970 c-30 cab and chassis .this truck will be bulit as a fire dept driil team truck .for those of you that DO NOT know what this is,we bulid these trucks to go 325ft in 3.0-3,2 seconds,men jump off and climb a ladder 20 ft and touch a target.you can see these truck at nysdrillteams.com for a better understanding of these.i have owned these type of trucks since i was knee high to a grasshopper!my first was a 1970 c-30 that was a bronx zoo truck(maintance).this truck also has a 427 /425 bigblock in it and a 4spd.also has a very rare opyion 18" factory dually wheels on it and a spare.would like to know if any one else has something like this.well that is my story.....thanks
