Welding question..

When welding sheet metal which size of wire would be recommended? .020, .030? Does wire size make a big difference in the settings on the machine?
Is it easier to weld sheet with smaller wire(less heat?)? I have a handler 130 mig welder and am going to get busy, just have a few???

Thanks, Rob
