I agree with idiot here, PLAY WITH MANUAL MODE! It's the only way to go on a digital camera. I like to set my shutter speed really long, my aperture large, and even keep the flash on sometimes. Your truck should show up crisp, clear, and bright. Yet the sky should "glow" and most everything in the background should be a tad blurry (depth of field).
