Brazing will work.But by the time you are skilled enough to properly braze it the truck will probably have rusted away.It is a hard won skill to learn to braze well enough to be able to do body work with.The learning curve will probably be extended by the fact that fewer people are good enough at it to offer more than limited advice and instruction.With the MIG there are many more "qualified instructors" who can help you improve drastically and quickly.
Just my opinion.I have done some work with both although no body work and I find it much easier to MIG than braze.
