After the build primer I put down one coat of sealer, then 3 coats of color. First coat was a tack coat the second and third were full coats.

For cutting I used 1000 wet for most of it followed by 1500 and 2000 wet, although in some areas I was able to do just the 2000. When I get the truck out of storage this month I plan on buffing it with some 3M products. I still have a few swirls left from the System One compound I used last Fall.

Before I painted anything I read that "buffers win car shows not painters", I have learned this to be so very true. Every see the RIDES episode showing Foose's Riddler winner that custom cabriolet 40s looking car? The show said there was a husband and wife team that did nothing but buff car parts for months to get all the finishes just right.
