emergency engine help needed
im on vacation 350 miles from home and my truck is giving me major problems. the first half of the trip went very well. then i noticed that my milage started to suck. when i would come to idle, the truck would barely idle and the exhaust was rich and smelled like raw gas. i pulled over and pulled my carb of (qjet) and disassimbled it. i noticed that there was fuel puddled in the intake. i then bent the float down a little and it made it run better but it still idled rough. i called sean murphy and he said that the fuel pump may have gone out and was putting too much p.s.i. out. im going to change out the pump tomorrow. is there anything else i might be missing.
