Tips to make a buckboard ride better ??
I don't mean to sound like a --bleep--- here, but i have been driving my K5 quite a bit lately and am wondering if any of you have a checklist to restore the thing to roughly duplicate the factory ride.
Mine has 200k on it -- so it has a lot of worn out crap i am sure. Big bumps are taken in stride, but small bumps chatter and are annoying. I have factory size tires (31 x 10.5 x 15 ) that are new, but haven't really touched anything else -- nothing is "loose" and it tracks straight and true. With front and rear leafs and a short wheelbase, this thing reminds me of an old conestoga wagon, Note: I am not looking for a new Denali truck ride, just something a little more manageable (softer?-- easier on the kidneys?) Would returning it 100% to stock specs do this -- or did they ride like crap 20 years ago when they were new too (mines an 88)
