Finally took the top off

Took the top off my K5 today in anticipation of a good weekend forecast. Its an '88 (still haven't changed the shocks) -- so the "topless" thing is not the same as full 'vert model, but its fun nevertheless --- plus -- you can cruise it when the temp dips into the 50's by just blasting the heater, with a full vert , your sol. The open air feeling is nice this time of year (in Oklahoma - i cant speak for anywhere else)

The ugly 'ol bastard even picked up a few compliments at the gas station and the pizza place with the top off.

Many of you would have been entertained watching me try to lift the shell off before i figured out there were 2 "hidden" bolts in the very back. When i figured that out - it came off so much easier
