carb troubles (need help fast)
i have been having problems with the carb on my truck acting up lately and it become very annoying. the truck has been acting up after long drives and i noticed when i pulled off the carb, it had some sand and a coudy gooey substance in the fuel bowl. i put a rebuilt qjet i had laying around on it and it ran fine untill today. it died in an intersection (embarassing). i popped the hood and saw that fuel was all over the carb and intake and fuel was coming out of the accel. pump area. i have taken the carb off and it has the same gunk in this carb. how would i go about stopping this? am i going to have to drop the tank and clean it? how would i clean out the tank?
