Any use a 81 suburban bumper??

Well my dad was poking around and drug this good looking 79 or 80ish suburban rear bumper over to the house. The frame rails and mouting hard ware that are on it are the same width as my 69 frame. But it looks that it will rub on the fenders. Curious if anyone has used one before.

I can make some brakets to keep it from hitting the fenders, but it might stick out too far in the back.
