burn baby burn! A little help?

I was driving on the freeeway, bumper to bumper traffic in rush hour yesterday, when I hear a snap crackle pop, and then see a ton of smoke coming out from under my dash. By the time I pulled over I couldnt see out the truck, couldnt breath, and there was a sheet a flame under my dash. Hahaha ooops!
I reacted quickly, a little too quickly. I was worrying only about getting the fire out, and before I was at a complete stop I threw the tranny into park. I could hear it go "click click click click" Did I break somthing??? I really hope I didnt hurt my new 2004R.

Fire was put out with only minor damage, just need to re-wire a few things and Im good. Needless to say everything is getting much bigger wires and more fuses
