trany oil help

Hey guys

hard to think today.

My buddy (sargentjones) just left me his truck.
He has gone to the gold rush in Alberta to make the big
bucks in the oil sands. ( Sand Blasting trucks for $3600/ WEEK)

I just need to know what fluid to put in his tranny
What fluid?? gear oil?

It is a 73 C10 with a 350 and 4 speed sagnal.

His reverse is not working so well. It jerks and rocks in reverse.
So hopefully it just needs an oil flush. I didn't see a drain bolt like the
muncie's. It looks like a pan you have to take off. with a gasket...
It has the fill check bolt.

Any help would be great.
