Should I put the turbo motor set up in the truck?
So, I will probably be getting my Camaro back in the next 3-6 months. I'm going to take the motor out of the truck and run it in the Camaro for a while to dial in suspension and just get a feel for it.
The motor that I have sitting for the Camaro is a 8.5-1cr AFR headed solid roller built to handle over 1000rwhp and spin to 8,200 that will be topped with a PT91 turbo. By putting it in the truck, I would be able to break it in and learn the Gen 7 software since it will be completely new to me before putting it in the 2,900lb 6-speed road race car. Give me a chance to hammer down on it for a while, pull it apart and check things out before I put it in the Camaro. Or should I wait to run it until after I test drive the Camaro for a while with the truck motor and just stick it in there? Hmmmm
