Gas Tank Wiring-Again
I finally got around to working on my wiring problems. As I posted previously I have a wire hanging down below the truck that I originally thought was the gas tank ground wire, but after looking at a wiring diagram I am not so sure anymore. From the diagram it looks like the ground wire is a short wire going straight from the gas tank to the frame.
This wire comes from the front of the truck. It is redish-brown in colour, with a connector on the end that looks like it is supposed to fit over a small post located on top of the gas tank that I can see between the cab and the bed of the truck, but can't reach or get at. I've attached a picture of the wire below. Anybody know what this wire is? Is it indeed the ground wire, which means I can just ground it through the frame, or is it for something else?
