Drive Shaft

Yes I am a noob,I bought a 62 c20 a few months ago and of course it was bare, but hey I paid 250 bucks for it and the body was straight.I am having trouble with a drive shaft.I have had a few people tell me the shat is supposed to be a 2 peice then a couple peopletoldme no.My brother has a 60 c10 and he has the original heavy duty single peice. What I am wondering is what other types of trucks or vans can I yank a shaft out of that will work.I will post pics soon.I pulled a 350 4 bolt out of a junk yard already and rebuilt it,and it looks awesome now. Thanks for any suggestions and advice!
