newbie in north carolina.

id like to say hey to everyone on here. im new to this forum but not to new to custom and classic trucks. ive been reading this for a week or so and as of tomorrow ill have another new project.. i acquired an all original for the most part 1971 gmc 1500 swb fleetside from a one owner individual.. the truck has been sitting in his back yard for 3 years and not in to bad shape..never has it been painted on, has the original hand painted pin strip down the side, disc brake sticker on the gate and 6 cyl/ 3 speed on the column. ill try to go pick it up some time this week and get some pics up of it.

dont know ill get to do that depending on the wife.. she is due any day now with our first child.

im CHEVY fanatic, i have in progress a 1969 camaro ground up in starting stages, a 1964 chevy pickup in decaying stages, a 2007 chevy equinox(wifes car), the tow pig is a 1989 chevy crew cab dually, daily gas car is a 1990 chevy cavalier. now i have the newly aquired 1971 gmc shortbed. ..

so thanks for having me and hope it will be a joyus journy. thanks rich
