Update! My 77 Royal Sierra
So I started workin on my 77 resto last summer, didnt make much progress due to a lack of time, but since the snow melted this year ive done quite a bit...
Replaced rear springs(painted each leaf before assembly), replaced front spring bushings, sway bar bushings, all new brakes and lines, rebuilt the 12bolt and installed a posi, rebuilt the th350, replaced u-joints, painted and installed t-case, trans, and driveshafts, replaced steering linkage, rebuilt the matching numbers 400(now a 409), rebuilt the gauge cluster, and began repairing the "new" cab. Im trying to get it done by fall, heres a link to when i started last year(and pretty much just got the frame blasted & painted) and some pics of current progress. http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=247860 The engine is GM Blue...its not as stock on the inside though... Cut the 2WD cab floor to weld in the 4wd tunnel. Next step is sandblasting the cab, repairing the cab corners on small spots on the rockers. Thanks for looking! Hopefully ill be showing completed pics soon!
