Intro
Hello All. I am new to board, after lurking for a while. I recently bought a survivor 1972 C-10 one owner from Georgia. Truck is all original and has 127000 on motor. I have the maintenance records going all the way back to the first 15000 miles. Truck does not even have a tow hook on it (yet).
I have replaced the dash pad and am replacing the steerwheel this weekend. I have a power steering kit new in box from GM bought the same year the truck was. Do you think I will subtract any value from original status if I install Power Steering? I intend to be true to the original stock of this truck and do not plan on hot rodding it. I even plan on putting the original rims and wheel covers bacck on it when I re-tire... thoughts? Great board and so much knowledge! Plus great classic Chevy trucks! KAW |
