Where To Buy?.............
I know somebody out there knows where I can get a complete "Seal Kit" for an NP205 Transfer Case for my '71. While I was home in Virginia, I found where my leak was. The seal for the output shaft for the front driveshaft. I called a local parts store Saturday morning and they told me I could pick one up after lunch time. I go up to get it and they said there computer was wrong, they would have to order it and have it by Monday. I flew back to Austria on Sunday so now my truck is sitting with no front shaft in it and no fluid in the transfer case. I didn't even get to drive my truck while I was home (that sucked).
Better yet, while I was driving my Z28 Camaro back from Richmond to Manassas (with my Mom in the car) I found out that the previous owner didn't have gear oil in the trans after it was to late. I made it to mile marker 120 on interstate 95. Had to get towed 58 miles home that cost me $220.00 dollars because my AAA membership had exspired. I spent 80% of my vacation putting a new trans in that car. What a great vacation that was. Sorry for the rant, just letting off some steam. A couple pics of the Camaro.
